BuyMetrics is Internet-based. There is no software to install or hardware
to buy. The application is branded with your company identity, customized
to your specifications, and linked seamlessly to your Enterprise point-of-sale
system. BuyMetrics is fast and secure.
BuyMetrics is not an exchange or an e-market; it is buyer-controlled
software used to communicate with chosen vendors. Your vendors will simply
need an e-mail address and Web browser – no passwords, user accounts,
or special software.
Use BuyMetrics to generate requests-for-quotes (RFQs), send POs, and
receive confirmations from your vendors. Gather quotes from secondary
suppliers you normally wouldn’t have time to contact. Instantly
compare offerings against established metrics, such as Random Lengths.
BuyMetrics supports counteroffers, mixed tallies and partial loads,
forward buying, and the comparison of spot to program buys or alternate

Use BuyMetrics as a powerful management tool. Purchase history and
the metric correlations needed to analyze buying strategies are stored
in an attribute-based data warehouse. The software also includes utilities
to store and analyze all procurement data. If you have multiple locations
and/or buyers, the software supports pool or block purchases and benchmarking
net landed cost against predefined objectives or averages.
